This is a collection of my favorite photos from 2012- I hope you like them! Most were taken with my NEX-7 and different lenses: 12MM, 24MM, 50MM, 18-200MM.... Many are HDR. My approach to HDR is not the optimum. I take a single RAW file and then develop at -2, 0, +2 EV. While I'm missing some detail, I like the results and don't have to carry a tripod.... Then it's off to Photomatix followed by additional post-processing. I work in Lightroom, Photoshop with On One, NIK and Topaz plugins. There is no end to the effects that can be created. It's almost impossible to know when a photo is done, but at some point I just say "enough"..... The great benefit of photography for me is that because I'm always looking for the "shot", I'm seeing things that I would have missed in the past. The downside is that I might forget to look both ways before I cross the street!!
